Need Help With Feeling Overwhelmed and Stuck?
Your experiences are not “just in your head.” They live in your brain activity, your nervous system, and the way your mind makes sense of the world. At ProHapi, I work holistically by connecting your brain, mind and body, to support real, lasting change. I am working with people who want more than symptom management.

Holistic Therapist &
Neurofeedback Practitioner
No two people are the same
There is no “one-size-fits-all” method here. Every client is approached individually. Your sessions are tailored to your nervous system, your history, and your goals. This work is collaborative, respectful, and aligned with your needs and not a preset protocol.
A different way of working with the mind
This is not about “fixing” you. It’s about helping your system return to balance, so that clarity, resilience, and choice become possible again.
My approach integrates:
- Biology – your nervous system and brain activity
- Mind – thoughts, patterns, beliefs, and meaning
- Emotions – how feelings are experienced, stored, and released
Neurofeedback is used as a supportive tool to work directly with brain waves, helping the brain regulate itself more efficiently. Therapy then supports understanding, integration, and emotional change.
Working with the past, for the sake of your present
Many people carry experiences from the past that continue to shape how they feel, think, and react, often without realising it. In our work, we may gently return to past experiences to understand what is still influencing you today. This is not about reliving or dwelling on what happened, but about processing emotions, releasing what no longer serves you, and restoring a sense of safety and control. We look to the past only so that your present can feel lighter and your future can open up.
I CAN SUPPORT YOU IF YOU:
- Experience anxiety, chronic stress, or emotional overwhelm
- Struggle with low mood, depression, or lack of motivation
- Feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure about your life direction
- Carry unresolved past experiences or emotional wounds
- Want a deeper understanding of yourself, not just coping strategies
EEG Neurotherapy
Non-invasive brain training for anxiety, stress, focus, and emotional regulation in Peterborough
EEG neurofeedback therapy is a non-invasive approach that works directly with brain activity to support self-regulation and balance. Small sensors placed on the scalp measure the brain’s electrical signals and translate them into visual or audio feedback. Nothing is sent into the brain; the feedback simply allows the brain to observe its own activity and gradually adjust in a more flexible and regulated way.
Neurofeedback is based on the brain’s natural ability to learn through repetition and feedback. Over time, the brain begins to strengthen patterns linked to calm, focus, and emotional regulation, without conscious effort or force. It can support people experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, difficulties with concentration, learning challenges, or long-term stress. It is also used by individuals who want to enhance mental clarity, resilience, or performance.
Work often begins with a qEEG assessment, which provides a detailed picture of how different areas of the brain are functioning. This allows neurofeedback and other supportive practices to be tailored to each individual. Neurofeedback may be used on its own or alongside talking therapy, supporting change at both brain and emotional levels.
Therapy Approach & Process
Personalised counselling in Peterborough for overcoming challenges, building resilience, and fostering growth
I use a pluralistic approach, combining methods like psychodynamic therapy to explore past experiences, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thinking patterns, and humanistic techniques to empower and support personal growth. Therapy adapts to each person’s needs—whether they’re seeking deep exploration or just support through a difficult time.
Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about understanding your past and how it shapes your present feelings and reactions. Emotional struggles often arise from unprocessed feelings or long-standing patterns that have become burdensome. Therapy provides space to process these and create lighter, more balanced ways of living.
Choosing a therapist is personal. I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your needs and determine if my approach feels right for you. Sessions typically begin with exploring your history, followed by optional qEEG brain mapping to link emotional patterns with brain activity. Therapy’s length varies, but the goal is meaningful, lasting change at a pace that suits you.
The Subconscious Mind
The subconscious mind plays a powerful role in how we experience life, shaping our reactions, habits, emotional responses, and sense of self, often without our conscious awareness. While much of what is held in the subconscious operates below the surface, it does not mean it is unreachable or fixed.
Through reflection, therapy, and awareness, many subconscious patterns can be brought into consciousness. By exploring behaviour, habits, emotional reactions, and links to past experiences, it becomes possible to better understand why we respond the way we do. The more awareness we develop, the more choice and flexibility we gain in how we live and relate to ourselves and others.
Blockages
Subconscious blockages often develop through past experiences and can limit how freely we think, feel, or respond, even when we are not aware of them.
Thought Patterns
Our subconscious shapes repeated thinking patterns, which influence how we interpret situations, make decisions, and relate to challenges in everyday life.
Emotions
Thought patterns and emotions continuously influence one another, shaping behaviour and reinforcing familiar responses unless they are brought into awareness.
Balance
By working with the subconscious mind, it becomes possible to support greater balance, allowing thoughts, emotions, and reactions to feel more regulated and aligned.
Emotions
Explore your past, process emotions, and create a balanced future
Emotions play a central role in how we experience ourselves and the world, yet many people struggle to acknowledge them honestly. Feelings such as anger, jealousy, envy, or resentment are often judged, suppressed, or hidden, sometimes consciously and sometimes without awareness. People may feel ashamed of these emotions and try to push them away, believing they should not feel this way. However, emotions do not appear without reason. They are often shaped by past experiences and can reflect unmet needs, old wounds, or patterns that developed long ago. When emotions are ignored or suppressed, they do not disappear, they often resurface through tension, reactions, or behaviours that feel difficult to control.
Developing awareness of how we truly feel, without judgement, is an important step towards understanding ourselves more deeply. Working with emotions is not about eliminating what feels uncomfortable or striving for a perfect, always positive version of ourselves. It is about recognising the full range of human experience, understanding why certain emotions arise, and learning how to integrate them in a healthier way. Through this process, emotional balance becomes possible, allowing space not only for anger or frustration to be understood, but also for joy, connection, and genuine wellbeing to emerge.
