About Me
Welcome to Prohapi
My name is Aleksandra, and I am the founder and practitioner behind Prohapi
I am a holistic therapist and neurofeedback practitioner based in Peterborough, with nearly ten years of experience working closely with people. My work integrates brain based approaches with psychological therapy, supporting individuals in understanding themselves more deeply and creating meaningful, lasting change.
I work with adults and young people who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck in long standing patterns. Some people come to therapy with a clear understanding of what they want to work on, while others arrive with a general sense that something is not quite right. My role is to help make sense of what is happening and to support change in a way that feels grounded, relevant, and manageable.
My therapeutic style is calm, attentive, and direct. I aim to create a space where people feel safe, understood, and clear about the process we are in together. Therapy with me is collaborative rather than prescriptive. We explore experiences side by side, making sense of patterns, reactions, and emotions without judgement. While life is rarely black and white, I work to help clients gain clarity and understanding, so what feels confusing or overwhelming can become easier to hold and work with.
Alongside clinical practice, my work is supported by formal training across a range of therapeutic and brain based approaches. I am a certified neurofeedback and biofeedback practitioner and a qualified CBT counsellor, with additional training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also in the final stage of completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Counselling, which further strengthens the academic foundation of my practice. This combination of experience and training allows me to work flexibly and responsibly, adapting therapy to the individual rather than fitting the person to a single model.
